Terms of Service

Effective date: May 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Skinly mobile application and the website at https://skinly.zyntec.app (together, the "Service") operated by Zyntec ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Skinly. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Skinly only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which permanently removes your data subject to our Privacy Policy.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Some Skinly features require a paid subscription. The following terms apply:

  • Billing. Subscription fees are billed by Apple via the App Store. The fee, billing period, and any free trial are shown to you before purchase.
  • Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS.
  • Free trial. If a free trial is offered, you will be charged the standard rate at trial end unless cancelled before then. Trials are limited to one per Apple ID and may not be combined with other promotions.
  • Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy: https://support.apple.com/HT204084
  • Price changes. We may change subscription prices, with notice provided through the App Store before the change takes effect.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the app.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
  • Upload illegal content or content that violates intellectual-property rights.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, security features, or rate limits.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) on the Service.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

5. Skin analysis disclaimer — IMPORTANT

Skinly is not a medical device. The skin analysis, recommendations, routines, and other content provided by the Service are for informational and personal-care purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Always consult a qualified dermatologist or medical professional for any medical concern.
  • Do not disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read in Skinly.
  • AI-generated analysis can be inaccurate or incomplete; verify any concerning findings with a professional.
  • Product recommendations reflect general skincare guidance, not a personalized prescription. Patch-test new products and stop use if irritation occurs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any health or skin outcome resulting from your use of the Service.

6. Content and intellectual property

  • Your content. You retain all rights to photos, scans, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display this content solely to operate the Service for you.
  • Our content. The Service, including the app, designs, copy, branding, AI analysis output, and aggregated data, is owned by Zyntec and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
  • Trademarks. "Skinly" and our logos are our trademarks. Other names mentioned may belong to their respective owners.

7. Third-party services

The Service may include or integrate with third-party services (e.g., Apple App Store, RevenueCat, AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their portion of the Service. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate by deleting your account.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits, intellectual-property terms) will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zyntec and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Zyntec from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be announced in the app and you will need to acknowledge them on next launch. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
